Rev. Carmen White Janak moved to Tulsa from San Antonio, Texas 21 years ago with her family. She studied sociology and psychology at Texas State University. She grew up in church with a musical family singing, reciting Maya Angelou, writing music and acting in church plays and musicals. She’s cultivated her creative genius as a black woman activist, minister, singer, and voice through speaking, writing and lending her creative eye to various projects. Carmen is CEO/Founder of InnerView Consulting Group. Her passion for creating unlikely connections lead her to begin a monthly group for women, Conversations and Connections with Carmen. She is happily married to her forever love, Timothy Janak. They have four beautiful children who have all acted, participated and excelled in the Arts. She is deeply grateful to serve as a founding board member of World Stage Theatre Company.
